An exploration space for the very young
Set on the 3rd floor of the Museum, the Nuage des Petits is a new exploration space entirely conceived and designed for children between 2 and 6 years old. Inside the Nuage, they discover the world by having fun. They move, they touch, they handle, they build and they observe!
For an hour, the children and the adults who accompany them make the utmost of the area in complete autonomy, with limited numbers of visitors so as to ensure they live the experience to the full.
For its opening, the Nuage is tackling the theme of fragility. Through games and challenges, kids take an active part in the adventure that’s told to them and come to learn an invaluable lesson: fragility is part of their humanity, of the objects around them and the world they share with other living beings.
Fragile!
Discover the little world of Windy the balloon, Iggy the egg, Folia the sheet of paper, Glitch the bar of soap and Plote the ball of wool. Mischievous and naïve, they’re brought back to reality by the arrival of Roky the broken rock, who warns them, “Watch out, you’re fragile, you risk hurting yourselves!” Fragile?
And yes, one of them can tear, one can burst, another can slip or break… But kaboom! Twist of fate – it’s Roky who falls and breaks!
It’s the beginning of “the Great Adventure”, where the children, accompanied by these little companions, experience “fragility” so as to try and get used to the idea and achieve the goal of their quest: mend Roky the rock!
